The Broken Dreams Café had its grand opening on November 7, 2007 at 8:00 a.m.

on Main Avenue. It is located where the Hershey’s Ice Cream Parlor is. We will still

be featuring Hershey’s Ice Cream and what I think some of the best food in the county.

Come and visit Darrell and Sharon Hamilton. The main room will be decorated with

Ashtabula memorabilia while the banquet room will be decorated with original movie

posters from the 1930’s, 40’s, 50’s and 60’s with original autographed pictures of movie

stars plus more.

Hours of Operation:

Monday thru Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (or whenever the last customer leaves)

Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Some of our soups are:

With the exception of the Tomato soup, all soups are home made with fresh vegetables!

(Actually the soups are not home made, they are made in the restaurant but they are made like they are being made at home! Even though the tomato soup is out of a can, it is made a special way just like at home!

This is our Banquet Room. It has seating for up to 50 people.

Eventually the walls will be filled with original lobby cards & movie posters from movie theaters as above.

The south wall will be filled with original celebrities' autographs

such as Glen Ford, Jimmy Stewart, Pete Rose, Rosa Parks, Hank Aaron, Dave Thomas & many, many other famous celebrities.
